Climate resilient food systems and planetary health – multi-disciplinary experiences on achieving food security and combatting malnutrition in East Africa

The climate crisis, the food crisis and the health crisis are closely linked, as the recent floods and droughts in East Africa have shown. The concept of planetary health holistically brings nutrition security and human resilience together with environment, plant and animal life. This panel will highlight different phases, approaches and voices, in the hope that in the future, planetary health will gain more traction to increase local resilience in the context of the climate crisis.
