Mr Dawit Mehari

Dawit is an international social science professional with over 15 years of work experience in the development cooperation and emergency response sector. Currently he is coordinating climate-smart agriculture and renewable energy programs at ADRA Germany, for countries including South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Tanzania.Within the Green Energy TVET program, he leads ADRA Germany’s efforts to strengthen government and decision makers to develop “Green Energy Vocational Skills Strategies and Action Plans”, in order to promote youth employment in the renewable energy sector. He oversees the development and implementation of Green Energy TVET programs in Ethiopia, ensuring engagement and coordination with all stakeholders and project personnel.Dawit is supporting development of project specific, holistic climate-smart agriculture and renewable energy solutions, including skills development in the renewable energy sector, while providing technical advice during their implementation. He develops and coordinates partnerships with government and non-government organizations in Europe and in all program countries. He also networks to strengthen collaboration and facilitate joint planning and implementation of holistic projects.
