Mr Richard Pearshouse

Since 2022 Richard Pearshouse is the Director of Environment and Humans Rights Division at Humans Right Watch. He already worked for HRW from 2008 - 2017 and helped founding the environment programme. In-between he served as the Head of Crisis and Environment at Amnesty International from 2018 - 2022. Richard Pearshouse is a lawyer, who has worked in the field of human rights for many years, gathering experiences with non-governmental organisations in Canada, East Timor and Guatemala
