Mr Uwe Lauber

Dr. Uwe Lauber has been Chief Executive Officer of MAN Energy Solutions SE (then MAN Diesel & Turbo SE) since January 1, 2015. Since January 2016, he has also been in charge of the Research and Development division as Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Uwe Lauber was born in Bad Säckingen, Germany, in 1967. He is married and father of two children. He studied Mechanical and Business Engineering in Konstanz and St. Gallen and was awarded a PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 at the University of Kronstadt. Before joining MAN Diesel & Turbo in 2010, Dr. Uwe Lauber held several management positions at BOC Cryostar and Sulzer Turbo. After four years as cross-locational Head of the Oil & Gas Business Unit at MAN Diesel & Turbo and Managing Director of MAN Diesel & Turbo Schweiz AG, he became a member of the Executive Board of the MAN Diesel & Turbo SE in October 2014. In this position, he was responsible for the company's global sales and after-sales operations until January 1, 2016. From March 2017 to December 2018, he was a member of the Executive Board of MAN SE. Dr. Uwe Lauber chairs the VDMA Engines and Systems Association (since 2018) as well as the VDMA working group “Power-to-X for Application” (since 2018) and is member of the National Hydrogen Council of the German government (since 2020).
