Mr Hakan Gurdal

Hakan Gurdal was appointed Member of the Managing Board at Heidelberg Materials as of 1 February 2016. Since 1 April 2016, he has overseen the Africa-Eastern Mediterranean Basin Group area. Additionally, he oversees HC Trading. After graduated from Yıldız Technical University Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hakan Gurdal has received his master’s degree from Istanbul University Department of International Business Administration. Gurdal has joined Çanakkale Çimento in 1992 and was appointed as Strategy and Business Development Manager in 1996 and Chief Commercial Officer in 1997 in Akçansa. After working as Chief Ready-Mixed Concrete, Aggregate Procurement and Logistics Officer, Gürdal was appointed as the General Manager on August 1, 2008.
