Boost the carbon markets - Germany’s support for developing countries to use Art. 6 to raise ambition and accelerate sustainable development
Implementing cooperative approaches under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement in a robust way places considerable demands on the participating countries, both selling and buyer countries. In developing countries capacity building will be key for successful mitigation contributions towards climate neutrality and accelerated efforts. For Germany good cooperation starts with supporting capacity building. Jointly with partner countries country-specific needs will be discussed during this side event.
